Lodging: Our stay at the Hare Uta Hotel Resort was nothing short of spectacular. The room offered an incredible view that took our breath away every morning. We loved sipping our coffee on the spacious deck, where the stunning landscape surrounded us, providing a perfect start to our day. Each meal was a delightful experience, with flavors that tantalized our taste buds and showcased the local cuisine. The attention to detail in both the service and the ambiance created a truly unforgettable getaway. We can't wait to return!

Uncover unique lodgings for an enchanting escape from the ordinary. Step away from crowded hotels to find cozy cabins, charming bed and breakfasts, or eco-friendly yurts in breathtaking locations. These hidden gems invite you to connect with nature and local culture while experiencing genuine hospitality. Create unforgettable memories and embrace the allure of the unknown in serene settings. In essence you have picked the Hare Uta Hotel.

Guide: Our tour guide, Noerangi Teave, was absolutely fantastic! She was a lovely lady with a wealth of knowledge about the island and its rich history. Always punctual, she made sure that we maximized our time exploring without any hitches. Her passion for the local culture and stories truly brought the sights to life, and she effortlessly engaged our group with interesting anecdotes and facts. It was clear that she genuinely loved sharing her expertise, making our adventure all the more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our journey!

Flights: Flights to and from Easter Island are typically uneventful, offering a serene journey over the vast Pacific Ocean. Travelers can expect a few hours of smooth flying filled with stunning aerial views of azure waters and scattered clouds. While the limited flight schedule may not allow for spontaneity, the calm atmosphere provides ample time to relax and anticipate the unique adventures that await on the island. Upon arrival, the sense of isolation combined with the rich history and cultural significance of the moai statues invites visitors to embrace the tranquility of this remote destination.

Time required: Our visit to Easter Island was four days, this strikes the perfect balance between exploration and relaxation. This timeframe allows travelers to immerse themselves in the island’s rich history, visit the iconic moai statues, and experience its unique culture without feeling rushed. To tour on the arrival day and departing on day four days fits nicely into this schedule, providing enough time to take in the breathtaking landscapes and enjoy a few leisurely moments by the ocean. Extending the trip to five days would stretch the itinerary thin, as the island, while captivating, can be thoroughly experienced in three days if planned efficiently; on this note squeezing it down to three if needed.
